Just came in to meet friends before the Jackets game and the place was rocking. Great service and ice cold draft beers

This bar is great. Ignore the hater reviews, they've clearly never been to a sports bar next to that sports arena or they would understand why it's so packed and why maybe, just maybe, it takes a while to get drinks when there are over 100 people trying to get one with 6 employees or so serving. The pizza is slappin' and the staff is great, especially the employee who looks like Aquaman.

A “must stop” if you’re in the Arena District in Columbus. Went to a Blue Jackets game and had a blast!!!

Just popped in here to catch a game & some snacks. Food is very good. Staff is attententive. Their take on garlic parm wings should not be missed. Plus, I just love that they made the tv's over bar look like a jumbotron.

Went before a Blue Jackets game. Definitely the best hockey bar in town, nice decor, let me charge my phone behind the bar in exchange for this 5 star review. Food was good not great, great Gameday specials and attentive staff.

It's the home of all that is Hockey. The staff was amazing, helpful, kind, and quick. The place is packed with Blue Jacket fans on game day and everyone was having a great time. The coaching staff showed up after the game as well. Our conference has made it its official bar now. I will be back when I'm in town!

I stopped in late on a Monday night, and despite it being a quieter evening, the experience was anything but ordinary. Zach, the one-man powerhouse running the bar that night, delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish. Not only was he a skilled bartender, crafting drinks with precision and a welcoming smile, but he also managed to prepare our food—and let me tell you, it was outstanding. The wrap I ordered was easily one of the best I’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And the pepperoni pizza? Absolutely mouthwatering. Every bite was loaded with rich, savory flavors, and you could taste the care put into its preparation. What truly sets R Bar apart, however, is the dedication and charisma Zach brought to the Bar. Balancing both the bar and kitchen with such professionalism is no small feat, and he did it effortlessly. If you're looking for a spot that combines fantastic food, top-notch drinks, and stellar service, R Bar is the place to be. Whether it’s a casual late-night visit or a planned night out, you’ll leave satisfied and already planning your next visit. Highly recommend—cheers to Zach and the incredible experience at R Bar!

Cool downtown hockey themed bar with a penalty box! Hockey garb, sticks, and memorabilia adorn every inch of the restaurant. The 100 ounce beer tube sitting on top of a mini goalie mask was too cool. Best part was the mens bathroom had two urinals one had a penguins sticker the other a Bruins sticker to help your aim.
